Bio
Caviglia co-founded the San Francisco Seagulls in 2003 alongside his former college coach, Doug Price. Graduating from the University of Hawaii-Hilo in 2005, Caviglia seamlessly transitioned from player to coach, beginning his coaching career at the City College of San Francisco in 2005. In 2017, he extended the Seagulls' influence by founding the Seagulls Baseball Academy, showcasing the organization's commitment to developing young talent.
Transitioning from player to mentor, Caviglia has played a pivotal role in helping over 200 student-athletes secure four-year college baseball scholarships, reflecting his commitment to their success. In the last decade, his leadership guided the San Francisco Collegiate team to a solid 341-224 record, clinching consecutive championships in 2022 and 2023, and earning national rankings during various summers. Marc's focus on player development and commitment to the success of his athletes make him a driving force in shaping the future of baseball talent.
